SUMMARY:
Our Client is a specialist in commercial turnkey solutions, interior refurbishment, hospitality and retail industries require Site Managers with excellent construction finishing knowledge and precise attention to detail, to join their team initially on a contractual basis.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements of the Role:

Strong MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel and Outlook
Communication (written and verbal)

Liaising with clients and other construction professionals
Report writing and administration / paperwork

Project Performance Programming
Resource levelling
Organising and Planning:

Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project.
Ensuring that the client’s specification and requires are met.
Coordinating and supervising construction workers.
Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
Problem-solving

SHEQ Management:

Attending to all safety requirements on site.
Ensuring that safety files are kept updated.

Procurement / Materials Ordering:

Ensuring that procurement happens timeously to avoid any delays – efficient planning.
Ensuring that the right specification of materials is ordered according to the BOQ / Plan.
Acute awareness of costs and working with various suppliers.

Asset Management:

Regular inspections of tools and equipment on site.
Accountability for the safekeeping of all tools and equipment on site.

Maintaining Quality Control Procedures:

Ensuring QA files are in place for all projects / sites.
Ensuring that the snagging procedure is in place from the start of the project.
Ensure that all construction is compliant with the necessary regulations.

Cost Management:

Labour costs / allowances
