SUMMARY:
VACANCY FOR A SITE AGENT
We have a position available in the KZN Region for a SITE AGENT to oversee and manage all on-site activities to ensure that the construction project is completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations on the construction site.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Site Supervision:- Supervise and manage the activities of contractors and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Address any issues or delays promptly and effectively.
Resource Management:- Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available on-site.
- Manage the procurement and delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
Client Liaison:- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the construction team.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status and address any concerns or queries.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and maintaining open communication.
Health and Safety:- Implement and enforce health and safety policies on-site.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure that all workers adhere to safety protocols.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents on-site.
Qualifications and Skills:Education:- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- CCS Candy and Buildsmart knowledge advantageous
Experience:- 7+ years’ experience in a Site Agent role
- 7+ year’s experience in working on Steel Pipeline and Reinforced Concrete Water Retaining
- Cost and allowable reporting skills advantageous
- Own vehicle preferable
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
