SUMMARY:
An industry leader in the manufacturing industry which is based in the NORTH WEST PROVINCE and within the Stilfontein area, is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Shift Supervisor

POSITION INFO:
Experience
The successful incumbent must have at least two (2) years' experience within manufacturing shift management as well as stores experience.

Formal qualifications

Matric or equivalent NQF level
Valid driving license code 14
Own transport
A valid medical certificate certifying the incumbent’s fitness status to work
Competency with all Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Project)
Experience in CAD (computer aided drawing) programs
A valid forklift license

Responsibilities

Ensuring that the factory and manufacturing runs to its optimal potential
Liaising with the Procurement Department in order to maintain sufficient stock levels for the steel
Ensuring the correct use and maintenance of equipment, machinery and tools
Managing health and safety on the factory floor and surrounding areas in accordance with the health and safety legislation
