Shift supervisor

SUMMARY:
An industry leader in the manufacturing industry which is based in the NORTH WEST PROVINCE and within the Stilfontein area, is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Shift Supervisor

POSITION INFO:
Experience
The successful incumbent must have at least two (2) years' experience within manufacturing shift management as well as stores experience.

Formal qualifications

• Matric or equivalent NQF level
• Valid driving license code 14
• Own transport
• A valid medical certificate certifying the incumbent’s fitness status to work
• Competency with all Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Project)
• Experience in CAD (computer aided drawing) programs
• A valid forklift license

• Ensuring that the factory and manufacturing runs to its optimal potential
• Liaising with the Procurement Department in order to maintain sufficient stock levels for the steel
• Ensuring the correct use and maintenance of equipment, machinery and tools
• Managing health and safety on the factory floor and surrounding areas in accordance with the health and safety legislation

• Excellent communication and reporting skills (English/Afrikaans)
