Our reputable Client offers a wide range of innovative laboratory equipment to cater for diverse research and development needs in a variety of sectors. They are recruiting a Service and Repair Technician to uphold their high standards of service and technical standards at various clients.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

- Mechanical and electronic repair of laboratory equipment
- Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Verifying the Company’s readiness to install and provide post-sale support for laboratory equipment prior to confirming a sales order
- Collaborating with the Aftersales administrator to prioritise and resolve customer queries, aiming for positive feedback
- Scheduled preventive maintenance of Laboratory equipment

Qualifications and Skills Required:

- Minimum Education: National Diploma in Electronics and/or Instrumentation, or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic functions of commonly used laboratory equipment
- Knowledge of computers
- Ability to understand and follow instructions of a technical nature, to analyse equipment and resolve problems
- Ability to analyse equipment, malfunctions and resolve problems
- Ability to maintain positive working relationship
- Ability and willingness to take initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and make technical decisions
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Electronics experience
- Repairs and Maintenance experience
- Refrigeration experience will be advantageous
