Service Technician / Engineer
POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric
- Qualified Fitter Artisan
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience of working with rotating assemblies in an industry/mining/power station environment
- Vibration Analyzing Certificate/Laser Alignment Certificate
- Drivers License
- Computer literate
Responsibilities:- Breakdown Inspection/repairs, SITE visits.
- Undertake servicing in terms of customer planned maintenance contracts.
- Installation and alignment of equipment (balancing if required)
- Investigate/repair equipment failures under breakdown.
- Installations and commissioning of machinery.
- Adhere to Safety standards
- Monitor stock
- Upkeep of system required documentation, including QC,EHS, vehicle log sheets and time keeping.
- Managing of hours of teams/sub-contractors
