POSITION INFO:
Job Description:
Attend to breakdowns and identify upselling opportunities based on site scenarios, following through with any potential sales
Draw up Bills of Materials (BOM) for projects and send them to Stores for procurement when necessary
Design panel drawings and layouts, liaising with the panel builder for approvals and revisions
Review specifications for cables and materials needed for installations, including cable trays, cable glands, and consumables
Handle burner modifications and retrofits at the office, followed by panel-to-burner testing and simulations to streamline commissioning, along with startup and commissioning duties
Travel locally and internationally for installations and commissioning
Liaise with end users or clients regarding travel arrangements, accommodation, site readiness, and requirements before traveling
Complete required documentation for due diligence
Provide accurate quotes, invoices, and site reports for clients
Remotely monitor and analyze customer sites using AutoFlame software, providing monthly reports
Contribute to the Service Department's sales targets and work towards generating revenue
Skills & Experience:
4 – 8 years in the Industrial/ Engineering environment
Problem Solving abilities, Commissioning of burners and boilers
Ability to issue COC certificates
Working Understanding of Boiler and Burners
3– 4 years installation of burners and boiler experience especially in relation to green energy
Minimum requirements
B Tech: M. Eng or N. Dip Mech Eng
Gas Practitioner License
Driver Licence
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
