Service Engineer Internship

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Service Engineer Intern to join our client’s team in East London, South Africa. This 12-month internship is ideal for a recent graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering who is eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic and client-focused environment. The role requires a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a customer service mindset.

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Provide technical support to senior engineers.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer Service: Ability to engage professionally with clients.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
