POSITION INFO:
Requirement :

Matric and related tertiary qualifications
5-6 years of experience in server administration and maintenance.
Microsoft MCSE/MCSA traditional on-premises infrastructure qualifications, or equivalent industry experience would be beneficial
VMware Certified Professional - Data Centre Virtualization 6.x, 7.x
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ800 - AZ 801)
Establish the stability, reliability, and security of Network Services (ADDS, DNS, DHCP, NPS), Windows Servers (Physical and Virtual), and Virtualization environments (Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere)
Cyber Resilient OS Solutions scope and execution
Proficiency in server operating systems (such as Windows) and server virtualization technologies
Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and configurations

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software systems.
Monitor server performance to ensure efficient and secure operation.
Identify and troubleshoot server-related issues.
Implement server security measures, including firewalls and data encryption.
Perform regular data backups to protect organizational information.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and system controls.
Coordinate with other IT professionals to ensure efficient server usage.
Document server configurations, changes, and upgrade history.
