SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Water Engineer to join our client's team in Bedfordview.

As a Senior Water Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and management of water engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the water sector and be professionally registered with ECSA.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, planning, and execution of water engineering projects, ensuring they meet all technical specifications, budget, and schedule requirements.
Provide expert technical support on water-related infrastructure projects, including water treatment, distribution systems, and stormwater management.
Conduct feasibility studies, hydrological analyses, and environmental impact assessments for water projects.
Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with local and international water engineering standards.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Ensure all projects are executed in compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control procedures.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals for clients and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

Professionally registered with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa).
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in water engineering, with a proven track record of managing water-related infrastructure projects.
Expertise in water distribution, treatment, and stormwater management systems.
Proficiency in water engineering software and tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
