Senior Travel Designer - Americas

SUMMARY:
A Renowned Travel Company is looking for a SENIOR TRAVEL DESIGNER

POSITION INFO:
Candidate Requirements:

• Grade 12 with mathematics
• Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/hospitality is advantageous
• Must have at least 4-6 years with Senior experience building journeys in the inbound travel industry
• Must have an in depth knowledge of South Africa and Southern Africa
• Personal or educational travel experience within South Africa and Southern Africa would be advantageous
• Knowledge of Mozambique, Mauritius and Seychelles is an added advantage
• Should be computer literate (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word)
• Must have excellent communication skills in English (Written and Verbal)
• Working knowledge of TourPlan and WETU or similar booking/operating system.
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must be organised, task driven and have strong time management skills
• Ability to problem solve without compromising accuracy
• Should have highly detailed product knowledge
• Should have strong financial skills, a self-starter with high integrity level and ethical conduct
• Must be passionate about wildlife and conservation
