SUMMARY:
5 * Game Lodge in the Waterberg area is looking for a Senior Trails Guide.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Manage junior guides.
Ensure the guiding experience is of top standard.
Ensure the guiding department adheres to the conservation ideals of the property.
Conservation is key and the guiding department needs to always portray that.
Ensure all guiding equipment is well looked after and clean.
Ensure guides stay motivated and educated.
Ensure all activities are safe for guests
Ensure guides stick to all protocols
Ensure a high team spirit-happy guides, happy guests
Encourage qualification upgrade of guides
Team building
Lead by example
Work out cycles
Manage Radio protocol
Training of guides
Guiding, walking and activities
Hosting

Requirements:

Grade 12
Minimum FGASA Level 2
Full Trails qualification
Experience in a 5* / Big-5 Reserve essential
Senior guide experience
