SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Administrator Accountant to join our Remote team in Benoni

POSITION INFO:
Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance for our clients, while displaying excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage full Tax Administration Accounting functions
2. Expertise in E-filing, Easyfile, and Sage One Accounting
3. Prepare, complete, and submit various tax returns (Individual Income, Company, Provisional, VAT, and Paye returns)
4. Handle correspondence with SARS, including queries, audits, investigations, and track unresolved cases
5. Address tax dispute resolutions, including objections and appeals
6. Submit Workmens Compensation, FEM and RMA returns, and resolve queries
7. Meet all tax deadlines and maintain accurate tax records
8. Save files and documents on our One Drive system
9. Collaborate with the accounting team to integrate tax and accounting services

Requirements:

1. Must possess own resources like laptop, internet/wifi, cellphone and a vehicle
2. Proficiency in computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
3. Access to One Drive and ability to work on shared files
4. Availability and flexibility to work from home and join meetings at clients' locations or assigned premises
5. Professional qualification in Accounting, Taxation would be beneficial
6. Previous experience with SARS, Efiling, and Easyfile is necessary
