SUMMARY:
A leading company in the retail industry is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Tax Accountant to join their finance team and ensure their tax compliance and planning align with industry standards and regulations.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all tax-related activities, including compliance, planning, and strategy.
Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns.
Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance tax savings.
Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise the company on their impact.
Coordinate and manage tax audits and correspond with tax authorities.
Provide technical tax advice to senior management and other departments.
Mentor and develop the tax team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

B Com or equivalent qualification.
6 years of experience in tax management, preferably in retail.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Proven experience in tax planning and strategy development.
