POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Senior Stress Engineer - Airframe Systems
Location: Airport City - Cape town
Salary: R60 000 - R80 000 CTC per month
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in stress analysis, particularly in airframe systems.
Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or NASTRAN/PATRAN.

Beneficial requirements:

Master’s degree (preferred).
Strong understanding of aviation industry standards (e.g., FAA, EASA) and structural certification requirements.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and tight deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities:
Conduct stress analysis, ensure airframe integrity, and prepare certification documents. Collaborate with teams and mentor junior engineers. Ideal for experienced aerospace professionals.

Perform detailed stress analysis on airframe components and systems using advanced engineering tools and methodologies.
Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards and regulations during design and testing phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and testing engineers, to optimize airframe structural performance.
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including stress analysis reports, validation test plans, and certification compliance data.
Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance in stress analysis techniques and project management.
