SUMMARY:
Degree in Comp Sci/ IT/Eng. Azure cloud certification an advantage. At least 3 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary IT environment involving data engineering, application architecture, application management, application design and development, middleware, database management and operations.

POSITION INFO:

At least 2 years Cloud experience (preferably Azure) and at least 1 years’ experience in DevOps and Infrastructure. Good understanding of all aspects of BI and Information Management processes. Skills should include Azure Storage, Azure Databricks, mTrino, Airflow, Azure Data Explorer, DevOps and Infrastructure, Unix and Python scripting, Data Lakes and Data Warehousing, Big Data and Kubernetes. Engineer, build, and maintain large scale data platforms in the field of data engineering, data analytics, data governance, data products, cloud, API’s and machine learning. Telco environment. Gauteng based.
