Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in coordinating and supervising all kitchen activities.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Manage food inventory, stock rotation, and ordering processes.
• Contribute to menu planning and costing for dishes.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing on-the-job training.
• Implement and uphold health and safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Q-pro or similar audit systems.
• Take full charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hotel kitchen as a Sous Chef or similar role.
• Strong experience in fine dining, a la carte, and buffet services.
• Proven ability to cater for functions up to 500 guests.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• This is a live-out position.
