SENIOR SOMATOLOGIST (LASER Trained)
TABLE VIEW - West Coast, Western-Cape (South Africa)
START: A.S.A.P / April 2025
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00 pm
- Closed on all major public holidays
- Business closure over Christmas & New Years for all employees
REPORTS TO: Business Owner / Lead Medical Practitioner
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R15,000 per month
- Service Commission

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
- DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Somatology obtained from Isa Carstens Academy
- BONUS - Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
- LASER (HR & SJ) experience preferred
- Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a Skin Care & Aesthetic professional
- Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients
- Must be based close to Table View / Milnerton area for traveling purposes
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3+ Years experience as a Skin Care Therapist (post-grad)
- high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience
- Experience working with active ingredients
- Aesthetic devices and advanced treatments
- LASER hair removal & skin rejuvenation experienced
- Medical practice experience highly favorable
SKILLS DESIRED:
- LASER Hair Removal

- Skin Pen / Nano-needling / Derma Pen
- Chemical Peels
- LED Therapy
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
- Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments & Skin penetrating treatments
- Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
- Retail confident
- Confidently re-book clients to build rapport and maintain clientele
- Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
- Assist in product consideration when expanding the brand, menu creation and general advancement of the business
- Driven and motivated to upskill by staying up to date with trends and products
- Assist Doctor where operationally required (admin / treatments etc)
