A Senior Solar Engineer opportunity in Cape Town’s growing renewable energy sector!

POSITION INFO:
We’re looking for a Senior Solar Engineer to join a leading team in the renewable energy industry, based in Cape Town. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of large-scale solar projects. This role offers the chance to work on innovative, sustainable energy solutions in a dynamic and fast-growing market.

Education:

BSc or BEng in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Solar certifications are an advantage.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in solar project design and engineering.
Expertise in PV systems, energy storage, and grid integration.
Strong understanding of solar technologies, energy yield simulations, and financial modeling.
Experience with project management, from concept to commissioning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
