Our client, a global leader in defence technology and precision engineering, is seeking an experienced professional to join their dynamic team.

This is your chance to work on groundbreaking products that define the future of defence systems, including guided weaponry, advanced Fuzes, and safety and arming devices (SADs).

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering (a postgraduate qualification is a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development
• Formal training in Systems Engineering or Project Management (highly advantageous)
• Proficiency in C, Microsoft Studio, and TMS processor environments
• Experience with Matlab/Python, GitHub, and Siemens Teamcenter (highly advantageous)
• Competency in Altium Designer (a strong plus)
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills
• The ability to thrive independently and under pressure in a high-security environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded and application software for high-performance defence systems
• Create intuitive UI/UX interfaces to ensure seamless user interactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronic and mechanical engineers, to deliver integrated system solutions
• Lead software verification, validation, and testing to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability
• Participate in field tests and contribute to the continuous optimisation of products
