Senior Safety Officer - Mining

SUMMARY:
Senior Safety Officer (assignment) urgently required for our well-established Engineering Client with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar / same role in the mining sector and tertiary qualifications as indicated below.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• All functions associated with the role of Senior Safety Officer in the mining sector.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Safety Officer in the mining sector.
• Extensive knowledge of health and safety practices in the mining industry including an appropriate tertiary qualification in OSH and MHSA, COMSOC and SAMTRAC.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Energetic, ambitious and committed to maintaining safety and compliance in the working environment.
