Job Opportunity: Senior SAIPA Qualified Accountant

Salary: R20,000 – R25,000

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and take on various responsibilities in a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday – 08:00 AM to 17:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Full monthly bookkeeping function for a portfolio of clients
- Handling statutory returns, including VAT calculations, returns, and submissions
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Payroll function and EMP 501 reconciliations
- Preparation of working papers
- Compilation of Financial Statements
- Taxation and tax administration, including liaising with SARS
- General administrative duties and client/office management liaisons
Candidate Requirements:
- Completed SAIPA Articles
- BComm or similar qualification (non-negotiable)
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Experience with Sage, Xero, 1Q, CaseWare, GreatSoft, Word, and Excel (advantageous)
- Self-starter, adaptable, and motivated with excellent communication skills
- Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid driver’s license
