The job purpose of a Senior Risk Analyst in Oil Market Risk typically revolves around managing and mitigating the financial, operational, and market risks associated with the trading, pricing, and investment activities in the oil and energy sectors. Some of the key responsibilities and objectives:

Direct managerial responsibility for a team of 3-5 junior risk analyst
Calculating and running risk reports including P&L
Communicate results effectively with traders and management

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Completed BCom in Economics/Finance
3-5 years relevant experience
Oil and gas commodity experience beneficial
Coding skills in VBA/PYTHON advantageous
