SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
This role includes direct managerial responsibility for a team of 5 professionals, where you will play a pivotal role in driving risk management strategies within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering professional development and collaboration.
Analyze and assess risk exposures, preferably in the oil and gas commodity sector.
Develop and implement risk management frameworks and strategies.

Qualifications:

Degree in Economics or Finance preferred.
3-7 years of experience in accounting, financial services, or commodities houses.
Strong experience in commodities (experience within oil and gas would be advantageous).
Proficient coding skills in VBA and Python.
Proven team management experience with a focus on mentoring junior team members.
Highly numerate with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
