Senior Quantity Surveyor

SUMMARY:
Durban. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with 10+ years in the construction industry. A Bachelor’s Degree and own transport are essential.

POSITION INFO:

• Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates
• Administer contracts (GCC 2015, NEC3, JBCC proficiency essential)
• Oversee procurement, tenders, and payment applications
• Lead tendering processes and quantity take-offs
• Mentor junior QS staff and uphold best practices

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
• 10+ years quantity surveying experience in the construction industry
• Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion
• Proficient in CCS Candy, BuildSmart, and MS Excel
• Proficient in GCC 2015, NEC3, and JBCC
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and communication skills
• Membership with a recognised professional body (RICS / ASAQS) advantageous
• Willingness to travel and must have own vehicle
