The Global Information Management (IM) team plays a pivotal role in delivering robust enterprise IT/OT solutions across our operations, supporting critical business processes, collaboration, and technical systems in our mines. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Project Manager to drive projects that support and optimize our information management infrastructure.

Role Purpose

The Project Manager will lead projects within our Global Information Management division, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion. You will manage resources, set deadlines, monitor progress, and provide critical updates to upper management. Working closely with clients, departments, and external vendors, your role will be essential to delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting all project scope requirements. This role demands a proactive problem-solver with experience in both traditional and Agile project management methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors for flawless project delivery, ensuring all projects meet deadlines, budgetary constraints, and scope.
• Scope and Objectives: Assist in defining project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and verifying technical feasibility.
• Resource Management: Ensure the effective allocation of resources, maintaining availability for critical project phases.
• Project Planning and Tracking: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and making necessary adjustments to stay aligned with objectives.
• Risk Management: Proactively manage risks to minimize impact on projects and ensure continuity.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and addressing any concerns.
• Project Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation to support project transparency and knowledge sharing across departments.
• Budget and Financial Oversight: Track project budgets and constraints, conducting financial analysis to meet and adjust budgetary goals.
• Team Development and Delegation: Mentor junior staff, delegating tasks based on strengths and experience to enhance team performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Utilize analytical insights and performance metrics to refine processes, improve system applications, and optimize project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Project Management Certification: PMP or PRINCE II certification is essential.
• Experience: 2-4 years in project management, with a strong grasp of project lifecycles and a proven track record of managing complex projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with technical concepts in software development, IT infrastructure, engineering, or similar fields.
• Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for both client-facing and internal interactions.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, detail-oriented, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
• Problem-Solving: Capacity to anticipate challenges, analyze data, and devise solutions that optimize project efficiency.

Work Environment

This role may require occasional travel and offers the chance to work alongside diverse teams across regions. The Project Manager will report to the OT Application Specialist and collaborate with various business unit stakeholders, regional support teams, and essential service providers.
