Chief Blockmaker - Manufacturing pre-cast concrete blocks in fast-paced, automated, continuous operation plants.

POSITION INFO:

The ideal Candidate will have sufficient supervisory experience in a fast-paced, automated, continuous operation manufacturing environment that they will be able to describe in detail with self-awareness how they delegate to achieve consistent quality product repeatedly and what mistakes they made to learn this. Generic, text book responses will not get you onto the candidate list, only real life responses formed out of own experience will lead to further interest.

The same candidate will also have set up plant themselves as part of their past experience and will be able to describe how they share this knowledge and experience with others to create teams that can produce consistent quality product repeatedly.

A history of job stability is essential.

It is the same with Block Making. The specific block making concepts must be understood exactly by all those involved in Block Making and live in them so that we can have good quality emerge at wet side.

Skills and Experience

2. A technical tertiary qualification.
3. Have worked a minimum of 5 years in a fast-paced, automated, continuous operation manufacturing facility.
4. Can describe how they delivered consistent quality product repeatedly.
5. Have managed teams.
6. Can describe how they manage teams to deliver consistent quality product repeatedly.
7. Can describe where they have taken ownership in their previous positions.
