Senior Production Manager

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior Production Manager to plan, coordinate, and control the manufacturing processes of our client operating within the mining sector. This position will be based in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Planning and organizing production schedules and ensuring cost effectiveness.
• Setting quality standards and adhering to health and safety.
• Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes.
• Overseeing production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Ensure selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials are on time.
• Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
• Liaison with different departments, e.g., purchasing, sales and technical department.
• Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with internal customers and managers.
• Supervising and motivating of team of employees as well as identifying training needs.

2. Production / Management Diploma/Degree
3. 5-10 years’ experience in Production Management’
4. Management Certification from a recognized institution/association.
5. MRP/ERP experience
6. Industrial Engineering experience (Advantage)
7. AI & Digitalization knowledge (Advantage)
