SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Senior Process Control Technician.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Senior Process Control Technician
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Diploma or degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
Extensive experience with process control systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.

Duties and responsibilities:

Oversee and optimize automated process control systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Program and maintain PLCs and SCADA systems.
Collaborate with engineers on process improvements.
Ensure system compliance with safety and quality standards.
