SUMMARY:

A global Food Manufacturing concern has an opportunity available in their team for a Senior Plant Engineer (FMCG) - Zambia.

POSITION INFO:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on refrigeration systems, along with a comprehensive knowledge of food processing operations.

Responsibilities:

Engineering leadership
Refrigeration systems management
Project management
Process optimization
Quality assurance
Preventative maintenance planning and implementation
Troubleshooting and maintenance
Compliance and regulatory affairs
Risk management
Training and development

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering roles within the food processing industry, with a focus on refrigeration systems.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, including HVAC systems, cold storage, and freezing technologies.
Proven track record of successful project management, with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards such as, HACCP, and OSHA.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
