POSITION INFO:
A property company is seeking the professional experience of a Senior Payroll Administrator.
As the Senior Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate processing of employee salaries, benefits, and deductions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies. You will also manage payroll-related systems, handle complex payroll queries, and prepare statutory reports, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
As a Senior Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure that all necessary documentation, including contracts, for new hires is accurately recorded in the payroll system and filed in physical employee records.
- Oversee the onboarding process for all new employees.
- Prepare and issue contracts for new employees.
- Stay informed about updates and trends in payroll systems.
- Prepare and submit internal reports as required.
- Manage and facilitate all injury-on-duty claims.
- Assist Auditors with conducting annual audits.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual statutory reports, including:
- EMP 201 & EMP 501
- Employment Equity
- Skills Development
- Workman’s Compensation Fund
- Issue tax certificates to employees.
Qualifications:- Completed Matric
- Payroll qualification would be beneficial
Requirements: - 5 years’ experience
- Attention to detail
- Payspace is preferred
