Title: Senior NetBackup Engineer
Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg
A successful IT company is looking for a Senior NetBackup Engineer to join their fabulous team. They have a collaborative and friendly working environment and their staff are highly skilled and very dynamic. You will be able to deal with technical calls for large enterprise customers and deal with Veritas clusters and storage requirements. You will understand enterprise level networking, routing and firewalls and are able to manage enterprise SAN environments and able to deal with Veritas NetBackup Enterprise level escalations and troubleshooting. POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
- Extensive Veritas NetBackup experience – 5 – 8 years
- Solid Linux/Unix
- SAN Experience (switches/arrays) – nice to have
- Networking – nice to have
- Valid code 8 driver’s license and own reliable transport
- Stable internet at home
Certifications:
- Veritas NetBackup (10.4 or 10.1)
- Minimum NQF 4 (Matric)
- NQF 5 or higher will be advantageous.
