Senior Mobile Developer (React Native)

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer/Engineering Sciences.

• 5 Years experience as a mobile developer working within a team in a software development environment.
• Proficient in utilizing API services for mobile application integration.
• Skilled in coding functionality to access mobile device components such as the camera and geolocation and deploying these features within mobile solutions.
• Strong ability to collaborate in a team environment and provide mentorship as a team leader.
• Thorough understanding of the SDLC process, tools, and techniques, particularly in the context of agile software development methodology.

• Proficient in DotNet, with extensive knowledge of C#.NET, XML, and JSON. Experienced in mobile store deployments for iOS, Android, and Huawei. Skilled in integrating Web/RESTful services and handling XML and JSON messages.
• Understanding of namespace management, SQL, and experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with SoapUI/Postman or React Native, including JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native best practices and patterns.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for managing repositories, CI pipelines, and releases.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles (OOP) and design patterns/practices.
• Ability to deliver production-quality software through attention to detail, extensive unit testing, and supporting quality testing phases.

• Visual Studio - IDE: VS Code and Visual Studio, SOAP/REST Services, AppCentre.
• Additional beneficial knowledge and experience: DotNet, jQuery, Web API, WCF, Bootstrap.

• Build, test, and deploy mobile apps using React Native.
• Support and enhance existing functionality and components while developing new ones.
• Understand existing product and domain elements, collaborating with business analysts to refine and implement new requirements.
• Refactor and improve code to maintain product adaptability and maintainability.
• Work effectively both in a team and independently, adhering to and developing product software development processes and standards.
• Evaluate and enhance application performance and high availability features.
• Develop unit and integrated system tests to ensure functionality works as intended.
• Create technical documentation explaining system components and their usage.
• Conduct root cause analysis on bugs to identify and fix issues in an integrated system.
• Build and deploy the system on an application server when necessary.
