Established company in Nelspruit is recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer. BEng (Mechanical Engineering) with at least 3 years’ experience in mechanical engineering and project management.  Proven working experience in designing and installing industrial equipment or processing facilities

POSITION INFO:
Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Nelspruit

Play a critical role in overseeing the design, fabrication and installation or engineering projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet their high standards.

Minimum requirements and experience:

• BEng (Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management.
• Proven working experience in designing and installing industrial equipment or processing facilities
• Proven experience in the following areas: Sheet Metal design, Structural design and General factory/ plant layout designs.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design software: SolidWorks
• Excellent Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on approach to engineering challenges.

1. Design and Engineering:

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications for processing equipment and facilities; Perform engineering calculations, simulations and analysis to validate design choices.

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including design and procurement.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
