SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for various positions in Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:
We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage mechanical design projects from concept to implementation, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of solutions.
Perform detailed mechanical engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to support product development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing Engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into complex products.
Conduct feasibility studies and provide engineering solutions to design challenges.
Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Mentor and guide Junior Engineers, providing leadership and technical support.
Continuously improve design processes and drive innovation within the team.
Ensure that all projects comply with safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and cost constraints.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s Degree is a plus.
Minimum years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of leading design projects.
Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
Experience in materials selection, thermal analysis, and mechanical testing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on leadership and mentoring.
Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, ASTM) and regulatory requirements.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
