A leading financial institution is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to permanently join their dedicated finance team. This critical role will focus on ensuring robust financial controls, accurate statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance, contributing to our commitment to excellence in banking.

Duties:

Oversee the product control function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for various banking products.
Manage statutory reporting processes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures to safeguard the integrity of financial information.
Conduct detailed analysis of financial results, including profit and loss statements, to support decision-making.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial ratios to evaluate product performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in audit processes.

Qualifications & skills:

CA(SA) qualification is essential.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a product control or finance role within the banking industry.
Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
Proven experience in financial controls, analysis, and the use of financial ratios.
