POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician that is based in Gqeberha to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

Grade 12 or similar qualification
3 years or more experience in building and general maintenance with practical knowledge & skills
Basic knowledge on aircons, plumbing and electrical equipment
Qualified artisan advantageous
Knowledge of hospital equipment advantageous
Computer literate
Valid Driver’s license

KEY DUTIES

Conducting routine maintenance, inspections & repairs
Implementing & adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule
Diagnose & resolve technical problems
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, regulations & procedures
Inventory management
Collaborate & communicate effectively with staff, management, clients & external service providers
Responding promptly to call-outs
Providing training to staff where necessary
Being on-call over weekends, based on an on-call roster
Analytical thinking
Problem-solving
