Overview

Our Client in the Government Sector is seeking a Senior Inspector: Quality Assurance to join their team.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12/Matric
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Law, or equivalent.
• Relevant industry certifications.
• 5 years of working experience in the compliance and legal field at the middle management level, preferably within the Public Service.
• Experience with regulatory compliance will be an added advantage.
• A valid driver’s license.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the chief inspector to ensure that the liquor legislation, regulations, rules, and conditions of licensed registrants are enforced by the Inspectors.
• Assist with the development of and implementation of the Compliance and Enforcement Division (CED) business plan.
• Conduct quality assurance on liquor license applications and inspection reports submitted for consideration to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
• Responsible for undertaking quality assurance of systems to identify missing documents or information and liaising with district offices and other stakeholders to collate required information for deadlines.
• Contribute to the development of guidelines, standard operating procedures, processes, and documentation to support the division in meeting required standards for recording performance information as well as inspection reports.
• Monitor divisional efficiencies to ensure that proper administrative and operational controls are in place for the divisional performance in district offices
