Overview
Our Client in the Government Sector is seeking a Senior Inspector: Quality Assurance to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Law, or equivalent.
- Relevant industry certifications.
- 5 years of working experience in the compliance and legal field at the middle management level, preferably within the Public Service.
- Experience with regulatory compliance will be an added advantage.
- A valid driver’s license.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the chief inspector to ensure that the liquor legislation, regulations, rules, and conditions of licensed registrants are enforced by the Inspectors.
- Assist with the development of and implementation of the Compliance and Enforcement Division (CED) business plan.
- Conduct quality assurance on liquor license applications and inspection reports submitted for consideration to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
- Responsible for undertaking quality assurance of systems to identify missing documents or information and liaising with district offices and other stakeholders to collate required information for deadlines.
- Contribute to the development of guidelines, standard operating procedures, processes, and documentation to support the division in meeting required standards for recording performance information as well as inspection reports.
- Monitor divisional efficiencies to ensure that proper administrative and operational controls are in place for the divisional performance in district offices

- Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Inspection Software.
