POSITION INFO:
As a Senior Industrial and Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial interdisciplinary role, combining engineering management, systems engineering, operations management, and automation to optimize products, processes, and business operations. This role focuses on leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies, including big data and automation, to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
Establish and manage industry best practices across development and manufacturing domains.
Develop and implement roadmaps for Industry 4.0 technologies, including automation and big data.
Research and analyze business processes and user interactions to inform digital transformation strategies.
Ensure that digital initiatives align with business objectives and enhance the user experience.

About You

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a blend of business analysis and software automation skills, capable of observing and shaping processes to achieve impactful results.

Required Knowledge:

Proficiency in ERP tools (knowledge of IFS is beneficial).
Experience with DevOps, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD).
Expertise in business intelligence tools and database management (SQL & MySQL).
Strong knowledge of Agile team management tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory).
Experience with containerized environments (Docker, PodMan, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in automation scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Practical Experience:

10+ years of industry experience in development and manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Continuous Integration.
Experience in enterprise engineering is an advantage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
