Senior Human Resource Generalist (Centurion)

SUMMARY:
Job Purpose: Responsible for the full Human Resource function such as processes, Policies, Procedures, Recruitment and people related activities, especially all IR matters and Performance Management Systems. Coordination of training and development and assisting the Chief Human Resource to ensure compliance with all legislative requirements such as Employment Equity, WSP, etc.

Qualifications and or Experience:  

• Matric/ Grade 12 
• 5 – 6 years’ experience withing the Human Resource environment, minimum of 4 years HR Generalist experience of which 2 years must be in a senior HR Officer 
• Tertiary qualification (degree level) in Human Resources 
• Must have strong experience in IR and performance management systems 
• Self-started and thinker   
• Excellent interpersonal skills.  Self-motivated and professionally assertive.  
• Ability to communicate and manage HR/ IR day to day issues within the Group. 
• Union/ Employee Representative interaction 
• Knowledge of the Motor Industry will be added advantage 

• IR Management  
• Experience and or understanding of payroll process. 
• Experience and understanding of Bargaining Council structure and agreements. 
• Management of Training and Development programs and initiatives 
• Drafting of policies, procedures and processes 
• Report writing 
• Union/ staff representative liaison 
• Employment Equity Committee meetings 
• Drafting of Employment Equity goals and targets 
• Recruitment and selection 
• Formulation of Job profiles with KPI’s
