Are you a Senior HVAC Engineer with a passion for Building Services design and delivery? Our client, a leading consultancy, is looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join their team.
POSITION INFO:
As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, specifying, and delivering innovative heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, energy-efficient, and sustainable building services solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems for various building projects.
- Conduct load calculations, feasibility studies, and system simulations.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and reports.
- Lead project coordination with Architects, MEP Engineers, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and sustainability standards.
- Mentor and support Junior Engineers.
- Oversee site inspections, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
What We’re Looking For:- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Pr Eng registration with the ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) – Mandatory.
- Extensive experience in HVAC design within Building Services.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, CIBSE, ASHRAE, and energy efficiency principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
