POSITION INFO:
Our client, a leading media and entertainment group, known for its innovative approach and high standards of excellence, is looking for a Senior Forensic Specialist to join their team.
In this role you will be responsible for conducting forensic audits and investigations into suspected fraud, corruption, and other financial misconduct within the organisation.
This role requires a high level of integrity, analytical skills, and attention to detail to ensure that all irregularities are identified, thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action is taken.

Duties:
- Conduct investigations into irregularities as assigned by the Manager: Forensic Services, adhering to best practices and internal protocols, and ensuring the investigation is based on solid evidence.
- Promptly log and thoroughly investigate all allegations or suspicions of violations within the Group.
- Provide insights and data analysis on current and emerging fraud threats, tools, and tactics.
- Recommend fraud detection processes and controls to mitigate the risk and impact of fraud within the business.
- Review internal and external audit findings to identify process weaknesses where fraud or other misconduct could occur or has occurred.
- Monitor identified fraud risks, potential incidents, and known system vulnerabilities that could lead to fraud or misconduct.
- Collaborate with technical teams to test fraud detection models.
- Assist in developing predictive models based on fraudulent transactions to enhance automated detection systems.
Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: - Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Finance / Internal Audit / Forensic Accounting
- BCom Honours
- CFE
Experience: - Minimum of 5 years in a forensic role.
- Experience in conducting forensic investigations within corporate environments.
- Management experience is a big bonus!
- Preference will be given to candidates with a background in an audit firm.
Skills & Competencies:- Must have knowledge of SAPS prosecution procedures.
- Must have und Specialist knowledge of forensics and fraud awareness strategy in a corporate environment that spans the forensics value chain.
- Must understand key features of laws relevant to the forensic investigations.
- Good stakeholder relationships.
- Good communication.
