Senior Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
Financial Manager working on multi currencies interlinked within the business, driving the full finance function for this dynamic organisation.

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for the FULL FINANCE function with regards to maintaining, managing, recording and reporting on the accounts. Monthly reports to the directors and shareholders include the cash flow and management accounts. This is a SENIOR Management role and you will be the go-to person. You will also enjoy responsibility and adding value to this great company.

Duties:

• Prepare full set of accounts
• Manage accounts receivable and collections
• Pay suppliers
• Manage monthly Payroll / bi-weekly wages / submissions
• HR related matters
• Manage the creditors including sundry payments, month end creditors with assistance of clerk
• Monthly invoices for the debtors and collecting of monies
• Monthly reports management accounts, cash flow as required
• Statutory reporting and submission of employee taxes, VAT, provisional tax and dividends
• Cashbooks and RECONCILING of bank accounts
• Processing month end journals and reconciling ledger accounts
• Liasing with Auditors, bank and insurance company
• Manage petty cash, credit cards and staff expenses
• Monitor daily cash flow for various banks
• Process cashbook for various banks
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
• Calculate accruals
• P & L reports and Balance Sheet
• Prepare VAT returns and other statutory documents
• Working on multi currencies - FOREX knowledge ideal
• Manage 4 staff members
• General office management
• Stock management
• PASTEL EVOLUTION to your advantage
• Advanced Excel
• PASTEL - advanced

Requirements:

• Matric with an Accounting qualification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Natural leader
