SUMMARY:
A leading financial investment group in Johannesburg is currently seeking a Senior Financial Controller!

POSITION INFO:
We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Financial Controller. My client is a financial investment group that specialises in manufacturing, mining, farming and agriculture, properties and construction. They have a diverse end to end investment portfolio.

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

Oversee financial operations and bookkeeping.
Ensure accurate financial data entry and analysis with local teams.
Produce financial analyses (costing, budget comparisons, and cash flow).
Monitor and control accounting operations daily.
Audit procurement and inventory management.
Enhance reporting systems and collaborate with IT on developments.
Approve financial transactions in the company’s IT system.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support local teams with operations and monthly and annual closings.

What Do You Need?:

Finance Degree
8-10 years’ experience
Proficient with Excel
French speaking will be considered a plus
A good understanding of business (procedures and processes)
