SUMMARY:
Our client is a forward thinking and progressively expanding is looking for a Senior Financial Controller. This is a position working at both the strategic and detailed levels within a Cluster. This role will supervise, assist, and/or handle controlling, payroll, and tax compliance directly when needed.

My client has amassed over 70 years of combined experience in the renewable energy sector, and this pioneering company is dedicated to creating sustainable solutions that are essential to South Africa’s energy landscape

The successful applicant will report to the Head of Finance and will be instrumental in developing financial plans and budgets for the renewable energy sector. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement, conducting in-depth financial analyses (such as ratio and trend analysis), and evaluating the company’s financial performance to provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making. The role will also involve formulating strategies to mitigate risks and ensure financial stability, recommending cost-effective measures to improve operational efficiency, and generating and presenting financial reports to management and stakeholder.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) OR ACMA CGMA
3-5 years' experience in a similar role
