SUMMARY:
On the search for an experience Financial Analyst for one of the leading telecoms businesses. Must have a background in the ICT space!

POSITION INFO:
This business is a global leader in the telecommunications space and prides themselves on the affordable solutions they offer for personal and business use, serving over 18 million people across the world including Canada and the United Kingdom, since their inception over two decades ago.

The purpose of the role is to ensure adequate policy, procedure, and accounting system implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the amendment of leases, decommissioning leases, analysis of fixed assets and leases using IFRS 16, as well as cost and sale activities, month end closing and reporting activities, process maintenance, cost saving and reporting. Aspects of the role also include analyzing monthly revenue against budgets and prior month figures, implementing processes to produce cost information on a monthly basis, assessing written procedures annually and analyzing complex volumes of leases.

Requirements:

BCom Honours
Articles and CIMA - advantageous
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Telecommunications industry experience or similar (preferred)
Strong Excel
IFRS 16 experience
Fixed Asset and Leases experience
