Senior Financial Accountant

POSITION INFO:

Take charge of the month-end closing process, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
Supervise transaction processing and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
Review and guide the work of junior accountants, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards
Manage and fulfil stakeholder data and reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Provide support during the company’s system migration, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide assistance to departments outside of finance as needed

Skills & Experience:
CA(SA) / BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 0-2 years of post-article experience
Hands-on experience beyond core finance tasks (e.g., assisting other departments)
Strong analytical skills and ability to handle case studies with accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a high-energy environment
Experience with Xero is an advantage, but adaptability to Sage or SAP is key
