Requirements:
Education and Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), Paradigm).

• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and manufacturing-related accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Experience with inventory management systems and production tracking tools.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Conduct detailed variance analyses between actual and budgeted results, identifying key trends and providing actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track production costs, inventory valuation, and variances.
• Support the Finance Manager with financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities.

• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting of journal entries.
• Perform and review reconciliations for key accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounts.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during interim and annual audits, preparing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
• Prepare and file statutory and regulatory financial reports, including tax filings.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting and finance function.
• Implement new tools or systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of professional development.
• Review work performed by junior team members for accuracy and adherence to company standards
