They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg North. You will be integral to managing financial accounting functions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis. Duties:

• Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including VAT submissions and other tax obligations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee foreign exchange transactions and reporting, analysing impacts on financial performance and advising on currency risk management.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, supporting informed business decisions.

• Qualifications:
  • BCom Accounting Degree.
  • SAICA or SAIPA articles.
• Experience:
  • 6 years post-articles experience in a similar role.
